I would like to ask…re: a payday loan company (for privacy I will not enter their name, unless I am able to… I WILL!!!). I took out a loan by phone & was told by the rep that the entire loan would autodebited from my acct. plus the fee of $175= $525 total ($350 was the loan amt.). On the due date, only $175 was taken!!! I called and tried the rep’s extension & he said he had to leave. A rude lady said, “$175 is taken Q/mo until U request a date to pay off the entire loan! U will have to pay another $175 fee=$525!” I said ”The rep that did the loan agreement per phone (I gave name) with me told me the entire amt. would be due on date scheduled…HE NEVER SAID THAT $175 FEE WOULD ONLY BE TAKEN. I SWEAR UNDER PENALTY OF PERJURY THAT THE ABOVE STATEMENTS ARE TRUE AND CORRECT!!!” I said that ”What I was told by your rep per phone will apply to the above sworn statement in a court of law”…I have left many msgs & no calls returned.

How should I proceed now? I want to expose this CO, but need some HELP!!! RSVP ASAP…thanx CashCentral!!!

Scams can come in all shapes and sizes, but it’s important to read the terms of your loan agreement and verify your lender is licensed with your state. If you aren’t getting the response you need, you could also contact the Better Business Bureau or the state agency who provided the license to your lender. While we can’t offer any legal advice on how to proceed, we hope you’re able to resolve this issue quickly.
